Our Kharkiv volunteers continue to help the family of disabled IDP Serhiy Omelyanenko, who were evacuated from Kupyansk and are now living in a hostel in Kharkiv.
These are people who were left homeless due to the war and cannot solve their life problems on their own, so they are the first to need care and help. Serhiy has a disability, cannot walk, and it is also difficult for him to talk. His parents, pensioners, live with him. They place orders – food, hygiene products, medicines, household items – and our volunteers buy everything and bring it. It is important for people to know that someone cares about them, is ready to help, listen, support hope for victory and the restoration of normal life, for returning to their native places.
Many thanks to our volunteers in Kharkiv, Valentina Datsko and Oleksandr Kolesnikov, for their regular assistance to the affected people, for their kindness, sensitivity, and humanity. We thank our colleagues from TOC in Portugal for their targeted financial support of this action. May goodness, love, and mercy accelerate our Victory.
