We are glad to join in helping a person with disabilities in difficult life circumstances. During the massive attack on the Kyiv region on the night of Saturday to Sunday, September 28, a plane landed in the yard of Oleksandr's house in the village of Vyshneve.

The explosion severely damaged the house, the second floor and roof were completely burned down, the car was cut by debris and the windows were broken, the fence and yard were damaged, and the dog was injured. The dog's kennel was located not far from the house and at first they thought the dog had died, but a couple of days later it came back. Fortunately, Oleksandr himself was not injured, he is now living with neighbors, his family lives abroad. Oleksandr has problems with mobility, walks on crutches. One room and a kitchen on the first floor of the house have more or less survived, and in order to be able to live there at least somehow, the first priority is to protect these rooms from rain and snow, make a temporary roof, and install windows.

Our volunteer Oleksandr Dovgopol talked to the victim, and we determined the priority needs. We have to wait an indefinite period for the expert examination of the house's suitability for repair in order to receive state assistance. We purchased a tarpaulin awning to cover the house, as well as car glass. This will allow the person to move around and arrange a temporary stay in the surviving part of their own house.

We thank our TOS colleagues from America for targeted financial support. This real help to a real person unites us and gives us hope and strength to endure the trials of war.
