People who are left without a home and cannot solve their life problems on their own are the first to need care and help. Our Kharkiv volunteers continue to help the family of disabled IDP Serhiy Omelyanenko, who were evacuated from Kupyansk and now live in a hostel in Kharkiv. Serhiy has a disability, cannot walk, and it is also difficult for him to talk. His retired parents live with him.
They place orders – food, hygiene products, medicines, household items – and our volunteers buy everything and bring it. It is important for people to know that someone cares for them, is ready to help, listen, support hope for victory and the restoration of normal life, for returning to their native places.
Many thanks to our volunteers in Kharkiv, Valentina Datsko and Evdokia Wenger, for their regular assistance to the affected people, for their kindness, sensitivity, and humanity. We thank our colleagues from TOS in Portugal for their targeted financial support for this action. We believe in Victory and the restoration of peaceful life.
