HELP FOR THE SERIOUSLY WOUNDED IN KYIV – 154 

We are approaching the middle of summer, this is the third summer of our regular weekly service, in which we try to support and help forty wounded people in a specialized hospital, where patients with severe musculoskeletal injuries are treated.

Over the past three years, we have not seen a case where the hospital was not crowded. This time, delicious and healthy homemade meals were prepared by an experienced team, including Valentyna Matsykh, Nina Rozdobutko, Halyna Yakovleva, Tetyana Horobchuk and Tetyana Kolyada, and the products were purchased at their own expense, and for forty servings, that is a lot. The family of Nataliya and Oleksandr Berezanskу bought groceries, vegetables, fruits with the money of relatives and friends and packed everything in crates and bags. Iryna Korittseva bought sweets. Mykhailo Chyvilov helped take everything to the hospital with his car. Natalia Berezanska was with him, she and her assistants carried everything around the floors, carried it to the wards and distributed it to the wounded. It is a great joy to see the smiles of the sick, hear their words of gratitude, feel their response to acts of kindness, mercy and compassion.

We are sincerely grateful to the entire team of our volunteers who participated in this action for their stability, responsibility and humanity. We also sincerely thank our TOC colleagues from France for their targeted financial assistance to this action. Our unity, love and compassion serve Ukraine, its glorious and free future.
