A family-type children's home in Kharkov, a city that is under daily shelling, remains in our hearts constantly. We support it mentally, cordially and financially. Maria Chupinina and Yuriy Korolchuk are raising, caring for, and taking care of seven infants, disabled children. These are children of war, abandoned by their parents. The four older children help, of whom the eldest, Jan, is their biological son. A lot of expenses go to medical examinations, because all the children have their own health problems. Medicines have also become very expensive now.
We are trying to partially compensate for these expenses through targeted charitable financial contributions from our colleagues from Germany. We are sincerely grateful to our TOS volunteer Evdokia Wenger for organizing this event. Summer is ahead, we hope that the children will recover a little, and we will continue to look for opportunities to help this special family-type orphanage in the hero city of Kharkiv.
