This year’s winter is very exhausting, there are many shellings, alarms are heard day and night, but our service for forty wounded people who are in the hospital of the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine is going on steadily.
This time, delicious and nutritious homemade meals were prepared and packaged by our experienced craftsmen Tetyana Honcharuk and Olena Matveeva. Yuriy Ralchenko joined them, he prepared a salad with the help of his relatives, bought water, and all this at his own expense. Iryna Korittseva bought groceries, added some goodies from our Belgian friends, and carefully packaged all this into 40 servings. Olena Khrystenko put on warm woolen socks, these are very coveted gifts in the winter. Olena Matveeva handed over children's drawings from schoolchildren from the village of Shchaslyve to the wounded. Yuriy Ralchenko took everything to the hospital in his own transport, accompanied by Iryna Korittseva and Lolita Basaliya, who, after a break of several months, resumed her hairdressing services for patients who wanted to.
We express our sincere gratitude to all those who provided this charitable event, and we are also grateful to our TOS colleagues from New Zealand for targeted financial support. May Light and Good prevail!
