The Christmas and New Year holidays are in full swing, as are round-the-clock alarms and shelling.

Despite all the circumstances, our watch of helping forty wounded people at the hospital of the Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine continues. This time, delicious and nutritious homemade dishes were prepared by Yevgenia and Maria Shvetsova. The result was a real festive table, very diverse and skillfully decorated. Even the photos look very appetizing. They included their friends and employees in financial support and actually used these funds to purchase all the products necessary for cooking. Oleksandr Dovgopol bought groceries, water and yogurt, he also packaged them in portions, and also took everything to the hospital in his own transport. Maria Shvetsova helped him at the hospital. Together, everything was transported to the floors, carried to the wards and distributed to the wounded. Of course, a smile, a kind word, a New Year's greeting went to each wounded person, and our volunteers did the same in return, both from the wounded and from the hospital staff.

Sincere heartfelt gratitude to our volunteers for their selfless work, kind heart, ingenuity and culinary skills. Also, our great gratitude to our TOC colleagues from New Zealand for targeted financial support of this charitable event. We have a common wish for the New Year for the establishment of a just and reliable peace on our land. May it be so!
