The year is coming to an end, Christmas and New Year holidays are still respected and celebrated even during wartime.

Our volunteers tried to treat their charges, which are forty wounded in the hospital of the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, with something tasty and to please them with attention and care. This time, delicious and nutritious home-cooked meals were prepared by Tetyana Honcharuk, Olena Matveeva, Yuriy Ralchenko with their families, mother and wife, mainly at their own expense. Groceries and fruits were bought by Iryna Korittseva. Olena Khrystenko handed over freshly knitted woolen socks, which are always eagerly awaited by hospital patients. We received a parcel from Ukrainians from Brussels with hygiene products and goodies, just in time for Christmas.

A big heartfelt gratitude to all those who joined this charity event, made their own efforts and allocated funds. In particular, we are grateful to our colleagues from New Zealand, who support such events financially.

May Christmas, moving across the planet, awaken Love, bring Light, give encouragement and protection to our warrior-defenders and volunteers. With hopes and expectations for a just end to the war, we await the New Year.
