Saint Nicholas visited a family of internally displaced persons from the occupied part of Kherson region.
The father of this family died, and in the arms of the mother, Olena Kazimova, three children were left, one of them seriously ill. Now this family has found shelter in Odessa. Our Odessa volunteer Oleksandr Makarov, by prior agreement with the head of the family, bought gifts for the children for the New Year. These are the usual necessary items of clothing, shoes, household goods, medicines, and of course sweets. The mother is very grateful for the help, for attention to their needs, sensitivity and compassion. The eldest daughter, Karolina, received a travel voucher to Romania from a charitable foundation, so she is especially happy to go in new clothes.
Our heartfelt gratitude to our TOS colleague from Odessa Oleksandr Makarov and all members of the TOS Portugal, who provided targeted financial assistance to these war-affected people. May all children in the New Year be healthy, joyful, study well, help their mother and each other, and love their Motherland.
