HELP FOR THE SERIOUSLY WOUNDED IN KYIV – 124

So the calendar winter has begun. This is a particularly difficult season in wartime conditions. But our service continues.

This week, delicious and nutritious home-cooked meals for forty wounded patients at the hospital of the Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine were prepared by Tetyana Honcharuk, Olena Matveeva and Yuriy Ralchenko’s family, his wife and mother. They did everything with love, with prayer, for the health and happiness of the patients. Olena Khrystenko started the winter season and put on warm woolen socks, which are very appreciated among the hospital’s patients. Iryna Korittseva bought groceries and fruit. She brought a donation from Ukrainians in Belgium – underwear, hospital shoes, chocolate treats and medical equipment ordered by the hospital. Yuriy Ralchenko bought water with his own money and delivered all the products to the hospital using his own transport. There, together with Irina, they transported, carried and distributed everything to patients.

A big heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers who joined this service. We also thank our distant colleagues from TOS in New Zealand for their targeted financial support. We look to the future with faith and hope, trying to help those around us.
