Assistance to reshelter residents in Lviv region

These days, our help reached the residents of the hub, which was created thanks to the cooperation of several dioceses of the Lviv region. 

This is the Ecumenical Committee of Medical and Social Assistance of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the Roman Catholic Church, the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and the Armenian Catholic Church in the Lviv Region. The very fact of such a commonwealth of religious communities is very indicative of today's military situation in the country, it just demonstrates the practical implementation of the theosophical idea of the brotherhood of religions. The hub (shelter) was designed for a hundred people, at the beginning of the war it was used as a transit point for internally displaced persons who then went abroad. Later, people who lost their homes due to military operations, but wish to remain in Ukraine, settled there. Now their stay and three meals a day in the hub are free for them. Each person is a separate story of pain, despair and hope. Thanks to the spiritual help of the founders of this hub, there is a friendly business atmosphere and self-service. People's basic needs are provided by their work, as well as through volunteer assistance. The Theosophical Order of Service added its contribution to this noble cause. A small group of volunteers, including Tetyana Arifhodzhaeva, Kristina Karpova and their friends, visited this hub in the Lviv region, bought and brought food. Such a visit will also be a joy of acquaintance and communication. Financial assistance for this charity event was provided by our TOS colleagues from Portugal.
