The northern, eastern and western districts of Kyiv region suffered numerous human losses and enormous destruction during military operations and occupation.
Many residents lost their homes, and those who evacuated had nowhere to return. The state and Western partners have started a project to build temporary housing for affected people, so-called modular towns. Yes, there are already several buildings of such a modular town in Borodyanka. Our volunteers Oleksandr Dovgopol and Yehor Korotkov, according to a prior agreement with the local military administration, bought humanitarian aid (food, hygiene products and medicine) in their own vehicle and took it to Borodyanka, to one of the buildings of a modular town for people who have lost their homes. Currently, 22 families from Borodyanka live in this building, accordingly, they brought 22 sets according to the list provided by the residents themselves. The financial resources provided to us by our Portuguese colleagues in TOS were used. Great gratitude to our Portuguese colleagues and our volunteers for their sensitive hearts and practical help to people in difficult life circumstances. This is how we will gradually rebuild our cities and heal the wounds of war.
